The Princess Cruises Refer-A-Friend Program provides a $25 reward to both parties when a prior passenger refers a new passenger to sail with Princess.
If you are a past guest of Princess Cruises, you can earn a $25 reward for each successful referral that you provide.
If you are new to Princess Cruises, you can get a $25 reward for booking your first trip through a previous passenger’s referral.

In order to participate, you must be at least 21 years of age and a resident of the U.S.A. or Canada (not available for travel industry partners and employees of Princess including Carnival Corporation).
Both parties will receive a $25 shipboard spending credit each when the referred person sails on any Princess cruise within 12 months of referral activation.
You may use your shipboard spending credit on any voyage within 12 months after the referred person has sailed on their first cruise with Princess, or you may use your credit during the referred person’s first cruise if you are sailing on the same voyage.
Referral Rewards are shipboard spending credits applied to the stateroom account at the time of booking and will become active upon the completion of the referred person’s first cruise.
You may refer as many people as you wish and receive shipboard spending credits for each.
These credits can be accrued in your account on an unlimited basis and used on any future cruise at up to 5 shipboard spending credits ($125 per person/$250 per stateroom) per cruise.
They don’t accept referrals for past or current Princess customers, so be sure you only refer those who haven’t booked with Princess, haven’t completed the referral process in the past, or have not requested to be removed from Princess Cruises email communications.
This offer is applicable to 2 passengers per booking only and is not combinable with Friends & Family, Travel Consultant, or Interline rates.
You can earn a maximum of 1 shipboard spending credit per referred person.
A maximum of 2 $25 shipboard spending credits may be activated per referral booking.
In other words, if you refer 4 people who sail in the same stateroom, only 2 will qualify to activate your reward.
The other 2 must sail again or in their own stateroom to activate your reward.
Anyone under 21 years old, travel industry partners, and employees of Princess (including Carnival Corporation) are not eligible to refer or be referred under this program.

Yeah, I’m at a loss as how to make this actually work. I have never yet sailed with Princess, was referred by a friend. This same friend and I were in the process of booking a cruise, which ended up being re-booked three times (long story). In the meantime I had downloaded the Medallion app, which it tells you you have to do, and this creates a membership number. But you can’t activate the referral credit unless you don’t already have a membership number. I really am at a loss to determine under what circumstances anyone would actually be able to take advantage of this credit.
