I put in $100, but did NOT receive the $50 bonus. I contacted support and they told me to wait 7 days. Nowhere on the site does it say anything about a waiting period. I will give them a few more days before I close the account as I do not expect to receive the bonus.

Hi everyone, some details about the deal.
Application process is simple, just like any other brokerage or bank account. $10,000 in free managed money is posted immediately. You have the option to fund your account immediately during the application or after account setup. It gives the option to set up a brokerage, IRA, and savings account. Funds are immediately invested into your personalized portfolio. Credit is posted a few days after your funding posts. Funds can be withdrawn within a few days (money laundering regulations).

I have been using Wealthsimple for over a year now. While I think that it is important to learn how to buy your own stocks and options on a manual trading platform I also think that it is important to automize and leave a portion of your investing to the pros. This is where Wealthsimple comes in. I have my account set up on growth and grow it has. Dont get discouraged at first when you are making a few cents a day.
