DNAsimple helps to match up scientists with the DNA that they want to study from people like you, so that researchers can get more DNA samples for studies and regular people like you can earn $50 or more for each study in which you participate.
Just Sign Up for a Free DNAsimple Account, and you can earn $50 or more per study when you get matched with scientific studies.
Signing up on DNAsimple is completely free for donors, and every time they match you to a research study looking for someone with your background, you will receive at least $50 for your participation, and you’ll get $50 each and every time that you qualify for a study.
All DNA samples that you submit are done so completely anonymously, and all you have to do to be matched with studies when you sign up is list your health conditions and some that run in your family, plus they also want people with no health conditions, so everyone can join, and it’s all 100% free for donors.
Whenever you get matched with a study, DNAsimple will send you a special container for you to provide some of your saliva, and you simply ship it back to them with the prepaid shipping label, and you’ll get paid $50 or more for your time and DNA.
DNAsimple is currently available to anyone in the U.S.A. and Canada, and they have plans to expand their service to include other countries in the future.
DNAsimple’s CEO Olivier Noel has appeared on the ABC show “Shark Tank” and has been named in Forbes Magazine’s 30 Under 30 for Science list of 2017.
How DNAsimple Works
DNAsimple helps to match DNA sample providers with scientific studies in the genetic research world.
You simply Sign Up for a Free DNAsimple Account and complete a quick 2-minute profile, and if there is a study out there that needs participants like you, they’ll tell you about it and let you decide if you want to participate or not.
If you decide to participate, DNAsimple will pay you at least $50 for submitting your DNA, and their match-making platform is 100% anonymous, so no one can see your identity.
How To Get Started
1. Sign up for a free account at DNAsimple.
2. Provide basic demographic information, such as age, height, and race.
3. Fill out a brief medical history for you and/or your relatives.
4. Wait a few seconds while they check for studies that you can donate to.
5. If you don’t qualify now, they’ll automatically notify you when you do qualify for a new study.
6. Review any study that you match and decide if you want to participate.
7. If you participate, complete a saliva kit at home and be compensated.
It’s important to note that researchers are not only interested in people who are sick or who have a particular condition, as they need control groups as well, so they also need perfectly healthy people to submit their DNA, and anybody can and should participate if you want to earn some extra cash for donating your biological samples.
How To Submit Your DNA
Once you have been matched with a study, you simply click the button that says you want to participate.
As soon as you are approved by the researcher, DNAsimple will send you a saliva kit (“spit kit”) to the address that you’ve provided.
When the saliva kit arrives, you complete the saliva kit by simply spitting in a tube in the comfort of your own home whenever you are ready.
After you provide your saliva, you pack up the kit and send it back, and postage is fully paid, so it cost you nothing.
If you’ve ever completed a genetic test like AncestryDNA, the process is basically the same, except that you get paid for your DNA with DNAsimple.
After you complete a saliva kit for a study, it is forwarded to the researcher immediately after removing any identifying information, such as your name and return address.
DNAsimple does not sequence DNA or store any sequenced DNA that you provide, as they are simply a match-making service between researchers and donors who would like participate in studies.
DNAsimple does nothing else to your sample and allows the researcher to sequence it on their own.
In addition, when you agree to donate your saliva sample to a study, your donation is only used for that study, and DNAsimple will never provide your donation to any study aside from the one which you agreed to donate to.
So you’ll get compensated $50 or more for each and every research study for which you agree to donate your DNA.
Earn $50 or More Per Research Study
The base compensation for a single DNA donation is $50 (USD), but the exact amount will vary from study to study, depending on certain factors that are specified by the researcher.
That’s roughly the same as most blood plasma donation payments, but unlike a plasma donation, saliva kits are completely pain free.
You’ll get $50 per study, so if you participate in 3 different studies and submit a saliva kit for each study, you would earn $150 in total.
DNAsimple plans to offer additional services to researchers in the future, such as providing extracted DNA rather than the saliva kit itself, and they hope to offer more than $50 to donors in the future based on various factors.
Please note that all compensation is paid by check, which is mailed to the address that you have on file with DNAsimple (Prepaid Visa Cards may also be available).
How DNAsimple Brings Researchers and Donors Together
DNAsimple makes it easy for anyone to contribute to and expedite scientific research while being fairly compensated for the biological samples and valuable information that you provide.
By donating your DNA to scientific research studies, you can double the pace of genetic research and help bring cures and treatments to millions of people far earlier than they could otherwise be provided.
Researchers are looking for every type of DNA sample for every condition, every race, every gender, every age, every background, every mutation, etc.
DNAsimple ensures both your safety and privacy, compliance with US HIPAA laws, and the integrity of double-blind studies.
DNAsimple is 100% private, and no other person will ever see your profile except for you, not even the researchers or the staff of DNAsimple themselves.

This is, for me, an opportunity to help other people that have problems in their lives. Whether it be physical or emotional, giving them information that can cause them less pain and more hope, and possibly help earlier in their lives as to live a fuller and happier life than of my own.
